Well, our Christmas cards will arrive on a day other than the first day of Christmas this year. Apologies for the belated greetings. We enjoyed a breakfast of eggs and ebleskivers this morning, opened presents and have been lounging in our jammies ever since. I hope everyone is having a truly delightful Christmas Day.
Happy Christmas Greetings!

Vendsels,
Thanks so much for the Christmas poem by Madeleine L’Engle.
Happy Christmas,

OK guys….I know you have tons of pics from when sarah was there! Post them…I want to see!!!!
I want to see photos, too!!!! Miss you, sniff-sniff.
Mike,
I’ve been tracking some folks down, and here you are! I take it you are still in touch with Kevin. Kim Nebgen Jansen also has wanted to touch base. She is at

I am impressed with your blog and your many accomplishments. My best to your family!

(PS - I am no longer at GHS. Write for more details!)
Sticking my neck out here… Just wanted to give the Vendsels a shout out in the grad school apps. Best of luck to you! I am ABD myself… Ph.D. of language and literacy from Baylor… mayhaps occurring in summer 2008. In the meantime, I’ve been biding my time between teaching ESL and setting up house with my wonderful husband.
Your site has given much fodder for inspiration and discussion in our home… hope that’s not too weird.
What a wonderful dialog! What vox!
Sending you both lots of light!
